I really enjoyed this restaurant. The Gyoza was the best I have ever had outside of Japan. When I first walked in the smell instantly reminded me of every izakaya I have ever been to. It is a clean restaurant with tons of variety.
Been there only about 5 times, but fod and service is great everytime! The Gindara is amazing! Too bad there is no sushi bar tho and everytiem i walk out of the place i smell like soy sauce and teriyaki especially when its busy on weekends. sometimes the service is a bit slow but the food makes up for it in the end.
Pleasant experience run by very nice people. (Owners actually Japanese) They do not skimp on sub quality and use more authentic Japanese ingredients. Nicely plated. Salad with Miso dressing & Black cod was delicious! Sushi is good but on the higher price scale and average in portion. Teriyaki is reasonable in price with large portions and generous chunks of Chicken.
A nice experience at a Japanese restaurant with out the trek to downtown Toronto.
