Never been so disrespected
I am a young-looking person who traveled all the way from Victoria, BC to Coombs, BC with a couple friends, with the intentions of going to "Fengy Boutique" specifically to buy a new silver ring - as I have purchased a couple items of jewelry from this store before. When we got there we found something we were interested in looking closer at, so we asked the lady to see one of the trays that were locked under the counter. After ignoring my request twice, she finally replied saying "these aren't for sale." When we asked why they weren't for sale (as they clearly had price tags on them), she continued to tell us that they're aren't for sale to us and that she doesn't have time to sell to young people like us because "the young people don't spend the money". She clarified what the price range was for the rings ($65-$200) with a tone that insinuated that we couldn't afford it because of our age. I work for local government and make a comfortable living - I would most definitely be willing to spend $65 dollars on a ring. All 3 of us ladies walked away feeling completely insulted and discriminated against because we may look younger than we actually are. Although some the jewelry there is nice, the customer service is the worst I have experienced in my (not that young) life.
